"JAMMIN' FOR THE ANIMALS" TO RAISE MONEY FOR ANIMAL SAMARITANS SPCA WITH ROCKING 50'S TRIBUTE

THOUSAND PALMS, CA - (April 23, 2007) - This year's "Jammin' for the Animals" fundraiser is a tribute to the 1950's and features renowned Elvis impersonator Ronnie East, along with Tim Burleson & The Desert Disciples. The annual fundraiser benefits Animal Samaritans SPCA.

The event is Sunday, May 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage. Activities include both silent and live auctions, a raffle drawing, best 50's attire contest, and dancing. Vendors will be on site displaying pet and pet owner related merchandise. Dog lovers are welcome to bring their four-legged companions.

Tickets are $95 and include lunch, dessert and live entertainment. To reserve seats, call 760-343-0837.

Animal Samaritans SPCA, Inc. is a multi-service charitable animal welfare organization serving the Coachella Valley and surrounding communities since 1978.
