How to Help
Decades ago in this country, 20 million animals were killed annually due to overpopulation. Today that number has been drastically reduced, but millions of cats and dogs are still euthanized each year.
Animal Samaritans SPCA is working hard to be part of the solution. We are fortunate to be the recipient of Planned Giving , Bequests and donations from many caring individuals who want to partner with us to promote animal welfare, diminish animal abuse, and stem the tide of animal euthanasia. Memberships and Financial Donations are a vital component to funding our comprehensive organization. "AnSams Ark" was developed to provide peace of mind for pet owners by making available an option to bequeath cats and dogs to the care of Animal Samaritans SPCA.
Also critical are the numerous volunteers who donate their time and talents to our cause. We have several Volunteer Opportunities to fit your interests.
One such opportunity is our Animal Foster Care Program, which involves caring for needy, homeless animals. Because state law limits the number of cats and dogs we can house in our shelter, we often receive more adoptable animals than we can accommodate-that's when becoming the foster parent of an animal becomes so important.
